ABOUT

Who are we?

We’re a multiracial coalition of St. Louis alumni who are working together to fight for the rights of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, & People of Color) students at our alma mater while also striving to improve our former school. Together, we wrote a petition addressed to the SLC administration and the diocese of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and you can read our full list of demands here: change.org/slcforchange. We’re fighting for a more historically accurate curriculum, a culture of inclusion, more opportunities for students from low-income backgrounds, and the implementation of first amendment rights on campus.

Our original cohort consisted of Kristen Broussard (‘09), Elizabeth Clausen (‘09), Danny Garrett (‘07), Nick Duffel (‘09), Natalie Ieyoub (‘09), Nick LeDay (‘09), Sally McPherson (‘10), Lucy San Miguel (‘10), & Aliesha Schultz (‘09). But now we’re asking all of you to join us in the fight for change.
